Chapter 3-17: Using Event Points

Verify


The Verify event point executes after Global Option Intercept in the data addition or data modification interactive phases. It does not execute in the key entry interactive phase, because records are not changed in this phase. This event point is found only in input processes and the Key Entry image of inquiry processes.

APPX performs automatic data lookups immediately before executing the Verify event point.
